Fruit Custard Trifle
A Recipe By Food Fusion.
Ingredients:
-Doodh (Milk) 1 & ½ litre
-Sugar ¾ Cup or to taste
-Custard powder (Vanilla flavor) ¼ Cup or as required
-Doodh (Milk) 1/3 Cup
-Cream 1 Cup
-Strawberries 7-8 or as required
-Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) 2 tbs
-Apple 1 Cup
-Grapes halved 1 Cup
-Banana slices 2-3
-Condensed milk 3-4 tbs
Assembling:
-Red jelly cubes
-Plain cake cubes
-Sugar syrup 1-2 tbs
-Whipped cream
-Strawberry slices
-Yellow jelly cubes
Directions:
-In a wok,add milk,sugar,mix well & bring it to boil.
-In a small bowl,add custard powder,milk & mix well.
-Add dissolved custard powder in boiling milk,mix well & cook until it thickens (4-5 minutes).
-Let it cool while whisking.
-Add cream,whisk well & transfer to a piping bag.
-Cut strawberry chunks & add them in a bowl.
-Add caster sugar,mix well & set aside.
-In a bowl,add apple,grapes,banana,condensed milk,fold gently & set aside.
Assembling:
-In a trifle bowl,add red jelly cubes,plain cake cubes,sugar syrup,prepared custard,whipped cream, prepared mixed fruits,sugar coated strawberries & line the inner side of bowl with strawberry slices.
-Add prepared custard & garnish with yellow jelly cubes & serve chilled!
